New VP, Electronic Products Creates Movement for Briggs
DES MOINES, IA (March 22, 2007) - Briggs Corporation is proud to announce that
Kevin Robbins has joined the company as the new Vice President of Electronic
Product Development. He is responsible for the development of Briggs’ e-products
strategy as well as the roll-out and delivery to their customers.
Briggs was originally established in 1947 as a producer of standardized medical forms. The company then began offering custom-designed forms and expanded products and services, resulting in their current multi-line products. Robbins is taking Briggs’ printed products to the next level by making them available in an electronic format as well.
Steve Hoffman, Executive Vice President of Briggs Medical Services Company, states, “Kevin comes to Briggs with a track record of success in helping his former clients work through technology issues to achieve business goals. We’re confident that he will use the same creativity and sound business judgment to ensure Briggs is successful as well.”
As a key player in the future of Briggs, Robbins will ensure their e-product design objectives are consistent with the requirements of their customers, and he will work with large accounts to facilitate the integration of Briggs e-products into their electronic medical record systems. Briggs anticipates Robbins to be the voice and “face” of their e-products strategy throughout industry meetings and conferences, in discussions with customers, and in assisting the marketing and national sales teams on the promotion and sales of Briggs’ e-product lines.
“Briggs’ long history of providing outstanding value to the health care industry ideally positions us to transition into the partner of choice for electronic content management. I personally am very excited and honored to have the opportunity to lead this exciting initiative,” states Robbins.
Robbins comes to Briggs from Sogeti, formerly Cap Gemini America, where he was the Director of Project Delivery Services. He was also the former Vice President at Midwest Project Partners.
Kevin is an Iowa native, and he currently resides in West Des Moines, Iowa with his wife Janet and their daughter Rachel, 10, and son Nick, 7.
In 2007, Briggs Corporation marks their 60th year as the trusted partner of Senior Care and Home Care providers delivering superior products and services for maintaining regulatory compliance, managing risk and achieving clinical excellence. Briggs has been a leading supplier to providers in Long-Term Care, Assisted Living, Home Health Agencies, Physician Clinics, and Hospitals.
