Briggs Corporation Announces New Regional Clinical Sales Manager

DES MOINES, IA (June 13, 2007)
- Briggs Corporation is pleased to announce that Amy Blanchard, RN, has joined the company as the new Regional Clinical Sales Manager. She is responsible for presenting clinical insight on all market issues, business opportunities, strategic direction, products and sales plans. Blanchard will be managing and consulting with existing customers as well as new customers, acting as a liaison between the Sales team, Corporate Account Directors and Ownership Groups.

“Amy will provide firsthand clinical knowledge and expertise for Briggs customers. We are excited to have someone on our team who is as passionate and experienced with hospice, home care and patient centered care as Amy is,” affirms Dale Maloney, Managing Director of Corporate Accounts.

Blanchard comes to Briggs with over ten years of clinical experience working as a registered nurse for home care and hospice patients across Iowa. She recently came to Briggs from St. Lukes Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where she worked as the Patient Care Coordinator. Blanchard was the first person the patient and his or her family would meet with in order to initiate and implement the plan of care, and she plans to continue working with hospice care on the side. Blanchard also worked as a leader in the Outpatient and Pain Management Clinic at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, as well as with several specialized doctors and anesthesiologists there.

I have been so blessed to have had the experiences that I have in my nursing career, and I look forward to my next journey with Briggs providing quality health care solutions for customers all across the nation,” states Blanchard.

Amy currently resides in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, with her husband Robb and their daughters Lauren, 3, and Taylor, 1.
