Briggs Corporation Announces New Director of Marketing
DES MOINES, IA (February 28, 2006) - Briggs Corporation recently announced that Ron
Knizatko has joined the company as Director of Marketing. His responsibilities
include the overall leadership of the marketing team and driving market-specific
strategies and priorities.
“Ron brings over 20 years of marketing and sales health care experience previously working for Smith & Nephew Medical, Kinetic Concepts, Inc., Gaymar Industries, Inc. and Tempur-Medical, Inc. and has also consulted for various health care companies. Ron will be a valuable asset in leading the marketing team and developing market strategies and priorities for Briggs,” said Betti Duffy-Kerrigan, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Briggs Corporation.
Mr. Knizatko’s
background includes sales, management and operations project consulting services
for companies in the Hospital and Long-term Care markets. Prior to Briggs, Mr.
Knizatko developed the national Sales and Marketing campaigns in Acute Care and
Long-term Care markets and re-focused
Alternate Care Marketing programs in
Nursing Home, Home Care and other
non-Acute markets.
Mr. Knizatko received his BS in Business Administration from the University of Illinois in Chicago, Illinois and his MBA from DePaul University, Graduate School of Commerce, also in Chicago. Ron and his wife, Zaiga, will be relocating to Des Moines, Iowa from Williamsburg, Virginia.
