Briggs Corporation Goes Platinum
DES MOINES, IA (December 5, 2006) - Briggs Corporation is proud to announce
they are a winner of the prestigious
2006 MarCom Creative Awards sponsored by the Association of Marketing and
Communication Professionals (AMCP). This organization consists of several
thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media
production and free-lance professionals. The AMCP oversees awards and
recognition programs, provides judges, sets standards for excellence, and serves
as a benchmark for the industry.
The judges awarded Briggs with four awards out of the 5,000 entries submitted from across the country. Briggs received the esteemed Platinum award given to only the most outstanding entries in the competition, with a mere 15 percent of all entries receiving Platinum status. Graphic Designer, Stephanie Frese, Market Team Leader, Jenny Smith and Clinical Consultant, Cyndi Rohert received Platinum recognition for their Home Care and Hospice brochure, “Guide to Positive Outcomes” in the Brochure/Capabilities category. This brochure also received a Gold award in the Design/Brochure category. The Gold award is given to approximately 16 percent of all entries submitted and exceeds the highest standards set by the industry norm.
Another Gold award was presented to Graphic Designer, Amy Heitz for the “2006 Senior Care Catalog” in the Direct Mail/Catalog grouping. Graphic Designer, Dawn Pralle and Copywriter, Cassidy Lauterbach also received Honorable Mention for their combined efforts in the design and copywriting of the “Turn to Briggs” 2007 Long-Term Care advertisement in the Ads/Business/Trade Publication category as well. Only 10 percent of all entries received this recognition.
