“Reflecting Quality Hospice Care through Documentation” with Cyndi Rohret at IAHHC

DES MOINES, IA (April 26, 2007)
- Briggs Corporation, a leader in Home Care­ and Hospice clinical excellence, is pleased to announce expert clinical consultant, Cyndi Rohret, RN, BSN, CRNI, CHPN, will speak on the importance of having thorough documentation to reflect quality hospice care. Ms. Rohret will be speaking at the Indiana Association for Home & Hospice Care, Inc. (IAHHC) Spring Conference held at the Marriott East Conference Center in Indianapolis, Indiana this Wednesday, May 2 at 1:30pm.

“Reflecting Quality Hospice Care through Documentation” is the title of the session where Ms. Rohret will review the importance of having thorough documentation, ways to “paint the clinical picture” of a hospice patient, and patient- and family-driven care goals and education. She will also demonstrate appropriate documentation techniques.

Cyndi Rohret has extensive expertise in clinical operations and staff training with over 19 years of combined experience in the home health care market. Ms. Rohret has started-up a home care agency, an infusion program and outpatient infusion centers. She currently works with Mercy Home Health and Hospice as a Staff Nurse while also working full-time for Briggs Corporation. As a clinical consultant, she works closely with Home Care and Hospice agencies all over the United States to establish best-practices for efficient operations and positive patient outcomes.

Ms. Rohret studied at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, while she pursued her Associate degree in Nursing. She went on to complete her Bachelors Degree in Nursing at Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida. Ms. Rohret is pleased to be a part of this upcoming event and is excited to have the opportunity to support providers in their efforts to deliver quality care.
