“Putting Best Practices to Work for You” with Cyndi Rohret at HCLA/LALA

DES MOINES, IA (November 13, 2006)
- Briggs Corporation, a leader in Home Care­ clinical excellence, is pleased to announce expert clinical consultant Cyndi Rohret, RN, BSN, CRNI, CHPN, will speak on how to identify areas of improvement and develop a plan of action to reduce hospitalizations, this Thursday, November 16, at the Home Care Association of Louisiana (HCLA) and Louisiana Assisted Living Association (LALA) Annual Conference in Lafayette.

“Putting Best Practices to Work for You” is the title of the session where Cyndi Rohret will review clinical strategies identified in the Briggs National Quality Improvement/Hospitalization Reduction Study. Ms. Rohret will discuss how agencies can put best practices to work to implement these strategies utilizing her experiences working in home care agencies as well as consulting with providers across the country.

Cyndi Rohret has extensive expertise in clinical operations and staff training with over 19 years of combined experience in the home health care market. Ms. Rohret has started-up a home care agency, an infusion program and outpatient infusion centers. She also currently works with Mercy Home Health and Hospice as a Staff Nurse while also working full-time for Briggs Corporation. As a clinical consultant, she works closely with Home Care and Hospice agencies all over the United States to establish best practices for efficient operations and positive patient outcomes.

Ms. Rohret studied at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, while she pursued her Associate degree in Nursing. She went on to complete her Bachelors Degree in Nursing at Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida. Ms. Rohret is pleased to be a part of this upcoming event and is excited about the opportunity to support providers in their efforts to reduce hospitalizations and deliver quality care.
